Long-term poor posture and repetitive motions can lead to intense discomfort or injury. One of our certified ergonomic assessment specialists can evaluate your seated posture to help you find the correct chair, keyboard tray, monitor arm, or desk height.

    This client was looking for the perfect space to move into, keeping in mind how much the company has been expanding and is forecasted to expand over the next few years. After the location was picked out, we collaborated with a local A&D firm to maximize the space usage to achieve a fresh, contemporary, and fun design. While designing, the entire time we kept in mind how to utilize the space currently and create areas for future grown. They chose to do a mid-height panel size, to create a sense of privacy from a seated position yet an open and welcoming feeling as you walk through the space. Along the main hallways we added an additional tier of textured glass for privacy. This client did a complete facelift with the corporate logo and look, working the colors into the material color choices, as well as accent walls. We provided space planning, design, project management, and installation services for over 60 cubicles, offices, break room and conference rooms. We also provided a custom 15-foot conference table that is showcased in their board room.

    A long time client, OIC assisted Nautilus in the layout and design of the workstations for their new R&D facility in Vancouver. The system is Friant Interra, with First Office desks in the private offices. These products are now standard for their offices across the country.

    Forensic Building Consultants

    Forensic Building Consultants acquired a beautiful location located right on the Willamette river with floor to ceiling windows and a very open concept and updated office space. We space planned the entire office as well as assisted picking out the perfect cubicle system and casegoods to match the feel of the space. The cubicles were designed with future add on cubicles in mind and oriented in a way to maximize the view. Picking a 50-inch low height frame, with glass and embossed steel tiles throughout and two tone fabrics helped make the space inside just as beautiful as the view outside. Maple worksurfaces were picked to match the building trim and then we carried that into the private offices with casegoods in maple and contrasting espresso bases. The reception desk was another piece that we provided, with maple front and raised glass transaction top.

    Stanley Tool

    We worked with Stanley on the complete redesign of a thirty-year-old space. Their current space was outdated, with mismatched furniture and tall panels that made the space feel dark and constricted. We worked with the client and their architecture firm during the building remodel in order to create a coordinated, contemporary design scheme. The client's new mid-height panels with a hammertone glass tile still allow for privacy, but provide a much brighter and more spacious feel in the space. In a nod to the client's industry, we chose an embossed metal tile for the exterior panels, reminiscent of textured sheet metal. The combination of metal, fabric and glass tiles creates a cohesive yet visually engaging look for a more pleasing workspace.

    Portland Police Association

    Relocating to a new building, OIC provided the products that met the look the PPA envisioned for their new space. The Friant Willow reception desk was modified to fit the reception area; Global Zira was specified for the private offices and conference room.

    Pahlisch Homes

    Pahlisch Homes is a custom home builder, and a long time Portland Client. When their corporate office decided to move into a new space in Bend they called OIC. Their goal was to blend privacy with an open desking solution for their accounting department. OIC proposed incorporating frameless glass, resulting in an open feel while maintaning privacy at the same time. Most areas are divided into work groups, lending an airy quality to the layout. The choice of colors and finishes emphasizes the openness and takes advantage of the natural light provided by sunny Bend. OIC recommended Friant Interra, which met the client's needs and came in under budget, freeing up funds to do other areas such as the lobby, break rooms, and conference rooms.
